We are doing our best to manifest the arrival of Fall and that means we're busy knitting up new pieces to wear when it cools down. Here’s what our Harmony team members are currently knitting!
Edie - Cardigan No. 7 by My Favourite Things
This pattern is a favorite of Edie’s. She loves the raglan sleeves and how easy the pattern is to follow. She is knitting with one strand of Noro Ito and one strand of Gepard Kid Seta. The colorful stripes of Noro elevate this pattern into something truly unique and delightful – just like our Edie!
Libs - Sophie Scarf by Petite Knit
Libs says the pattern is a super quick and easy project – perfect for beginners! She is knitting with Fonty Cœur D'Angora. She says it's soft and light and knits up like a dream. She purchased it from Beautiful Knitters in London and she plans on buying more of it next time she’s in Europe. While we don’t carry this particular yarn at Harmony, Cashsilk Light by Laines Du Nord has a similar weight and softness and would be an excellent alternative.
Jenny - Beatrix Cardigan by Gregoria Fibers
This is her first time using a pattern by Gregoria Fibers. The construction is interesting and new to her but those cables on the sleeves are worth the extra challenge. The yarn she's using is Noro Malvinas. Knowing Jenny, this cardigan will be finished in no time!
Erin - Tolsta Tee by Rebecca Clow
This is Erin’s second time making a Tolsta Tee. The first time she made it, she did the fingering weight variation with short sleeves. This time, Erin is making a version with long sleeves and a couple more modifications. To avoid a loose neckline, Erin compensated by casting on for two sizes smaller followed by an increase round before starting the body. She is using three different colors of Gepard Pura Lana for a fun stripey, colorblock moment!
Laura - Vest No. 4 by My Favourite Things – Noro Haunui Silk
Laura is currently working on the Vest No. 4 by My Favourite Things Knitwear. She is using Noro Haunui Silk. The pattern is pending review, as she is just starting, but so far, it is knitting up beautifully.
Shay - Basil Cardigan by Amy Christoffers

Shay had been dreaming of making a cardigan with a collar and Amy Christoffers' new pattern was exactly what she was looking for. She is knitting with Harrisville Designs' Highland and is loving it. The collar is shaped with German Short Rows and took her a couple tries to get it just right but the rest of the pattern has been simple and straightforward.
